Wolaitta Dicha and Ethiopia Coffee have qualified for the Ethiopian Cup finals coming up in June.
Wolaitta Dicha beat Ethiopian Insurance 1-0 in the first semifinal and Ethiopia Coffee beat Hawassa City 2-0 in the second semifinal.
Ethiopian Insurance gave Wolaitta Dicha a hard time and the contest dragged on goalless for most of the game.
However, Bisrat Bekele produced a moment of delight for Wolaitta Dicha with a sublime goal in the 86th minute.
Ethiopia Coffee became the second team to reach the finals in an explosive game that produced two goals.
The first was from a first-half stoppage-time penalty converted for Ethiopia Coffee by Wasawa Geoffrey to make it 1-0.
Coffee led 1-0 at halftime and would add a second goal eight minutes into the second half with Anteneh Tefera's 53rd-minute strike.
This was a strong Ethiopia Cup semifinal field with Premier League teams involved and no upsets among the last four.
Wolaitta Dicha will try to surprise odds-on favourites Ethiopia Coffee when the two sides meet in June.
